Publishers are concerned about brand erosion due to unwanted creative being shown to their visitors. Good examples of unwanted creative are obesity ads, adult ads and competitor ads that violate publisher's brand policies. The Blocklist Managerhelps the publisher in stopping the display of unwanted creatives to their visitors by blocking the advertiser, advertiser's category, domain URLs and/or creative attributes. The Blocklist Manager helps the publisher to view the domain URLs for an advertiser and then block and unblock accordingly.

The Blocklist Manager provides a report of all blocked and available advertisers, advertiser's categories and domain URLs. The list of blocked advertisers, advertiser's categories and domain URLs can be downloaded or e-mailed for future reference.

The advantages of using the Blocklist Manager are as following:

  • Helps publisher to block advertiser, advertiser's category or creative attribute with single click

  • Helps publisher to view available domain URLs for blocking purposes and block/unblock accordingly

  • Allows publisher to view/schedule/download/e-mail blocked advertiser categories, advertiser & domain URLs for all or any specific sites.

The below diagram provides a general information about advertiser, advertiser's category & domain URL:
