Inventory for your site or app in the Unified Ad Server is made up of Ad Units and Ad Unit Groups.

  • Each Ad Unit is a block of inventory that can be targeted by a line item.
A single ad unit can be associated with multiple ad slots.
  • Ad Unit Groups are a collection of ad units that can be managed together.

In the Unified Ad Server (UAS), once you create an ad unit, you can generate the ad tag code needed to add to your site page(s). By placing the provided tag in the header and the tag in the body where the ad will be displayed, ad unit tags will call the UAS to retrieve ads for display when a user views the page.
