Note: This document supports a set of APIs for older integrations.

The below-mentioned parameter indicates a numerical score for the Web page based on its content on a scale of 1 to 1000, with 1 being the most unsafe and 1000 being the safest. There can be multiple scores for each category associated with a single page URL. These scores are passed by PubMatic to the DSP in the "bsc" parameter.

Note: The "bsc" parameter mentioned below is passed only if it is enabled for your account. To enable this parameter, contact your PubMatic Account Manager.

List of Brand Safety Scores for various brand safety categories associated with the Web page’s context.
This parameter includes the following brand safety categories:
  • adt - Adult
  • hat - Hate
  • off - Offensive
  • dlm - Illegal Downloads
  • alc - Alcohol
  • drg - Illegal Drugs
The score is classified in the following divisions:
  • 1 to 250 - Very high risk
  • 251 to 500 - High risk
  • 501 to 750 - Moderate risk
  • 751 to 1000 - Low risk
