The PubMatic SSP Server and Unified Ad Server (UAS) update currency using the following methods:

Daily

  1. Conversion rate updates are retrieved daily from www.x-rates.com.
  2. For each currency, PubMatic parses the inversion of 1.00 USD rate and store it in our database.
  3. Currency data is updated on the server at the following times of every day (in PST): 03:00, 06:00, 09:00, 12:00 (noon), 15:00, 18:00 and 21:00, to cover the currency rate at the start of business in each country covered by each time zone. Current conversion rate update happens only once for a particular currency at the start of business hours of the respective countries on daily basis.

Monthly

PubMatic stores the average currency rate for each currency for the previous month for billing purposes. This data is updated on the first day of each month, 3 times, at 02:00, 04:00 and 08:00. Currency conversion rate update occurs only once for a particular currency at the start of business hours of the respective countries on the first day of each month.
