A native template defines the assets and components required to fulfill the native design for the ad unit. Native templates can to be used in the creation of ad unit inventory.

Create a Native Template

  1. Select Inventory & Rules | Native Templates.
  2. Click Create Native Template.
  3. Select whether this template will be based on an existing template (which can be copied and modified) or not by choosing a Source option.
  4. Add a name for the template and select the type of native template will be created. Each type contains asset placeholders typical to that type (e.g., title, icon, rating, etc.).

    Note: To control which assets are included in a template, select the Custom type and use the Add Asset button to add and customize assets in the template. A maximum of 5 assets of the same type can be added to a native template.
  5. Click Save or Save and Create Another Native Template when complete.

View Details of a Native Template

  1. Select Inventory & Rules | Native Templates.
  2. Click the title of the template to view it. Note that each asset has an asset ID along with the details of each asset.

Note: Native Templates cannot be edited, as they may be currently used in a line item. To create a template like one that exists, use the Copy from existing template option.
