Managing Campaigns in Media Buyer Console (MBC)

The Campaign Manager interface in Media Buyer Console (MBC) allows you to view graphical and tabular information about the various fixed-CPM campaigns created either by you or your demand partner accounts.

Campaign Manager functionality only available to PubMatic Admins.

Navigating to Campaign Manager

  1. Log in to the Media Buyer Console.
  2. Select Campaigns from the main menu.

Viewing the Top Campaigns by Impression Graph

The Top Campaigns by Impressions graph displays the performance of the top 10 campaigns on the basis of the number of their impressions served until date.

  • Description: This graph is a bar chart that displays the total number of impressions belonging to each campaign which have been served till date for each of the top 10 campaigns.
  • X and Y axes: The X-axis displays the list of the top 10 campaigns and the Y-axis displays the total number of impressions served till date.
  • Color coding: The color of a bar in the graph denotes a campaign and is mentioned in the legend next to the graph.
  • Filtering: To remove a particular campaign from the graph, click the color code corresponding to that campaign displayed in the legend next to the graph.
  • Labeling: Placing the mouse pointer over any location of a bar displays the name of the top-performing campaign and the total number of impressions belonging to that campaign which has been served till date.
  • Benefits: This graph allows you to view and analyze the impression utilization for each top-performing campaign till date. You can also note the campaigns whose impressions are utilized the most and those whose impressions are utilized the least. For such campaigns, you can then analyze and take the appropriate action.

Viewing the Top Campaigns by Spend Graph

The Top Campaigns by Spend graph displays the performance of the top 10 campaigns on the basis of their budget amounts spent until date.

  • Description: This graph is a bar chart that displays each campaign's total budget amount which has been spent till date for each of the top 10 campaigns.
  • X and Y axes: The X-axis displays the list of the top 10 campaigns and the Y-axis displays the total budget amount spent till date.
  • Color coding: The color of a bar in the graph denotes a campaign and is mentioned in the legend next to the graph.
  • Filtering: To remove a particular campaign from the graph, click the color code corresponding to that campaign displayed in the legend next to the graph.
  • Labeling: Placing the mouse pointer over any location of a bar displays the name of the top-performing campaign and the total budget amount spent till date for that campaign.
  • Benefits: This graph allows you to view and analyze the budget utilization for each top-performing campaign till date. You can also note the campaigns whose budget has been utilized the most and those whose budget has been utilized the least. For such campaigns, you can then analyze and take the appropriate action.
