Introduction

The Pushdown creative is an ad unit that appears at the top of a webpage that can expand/collapse upon user click or mouse hover. It is referred to as a "pushdown" because when the ad is expanded to full size, it "pushes" the page content further down the page below it.

There are multiple options in PubMatic for using a Pushdown template for your Rich Media creatives, including:

  • Standard Pushdown
  • Pushdown with a Logo
  • Pushdown with a Teaser
  • Pushdown with a Teaser and Animation
  • Pushdown with App Content

Additionally, PubMatic offers options to customize the expand and collapse icons and whether the ad expands and collapses with a click or mouse hover action.
