How to Add an Image to Community Post

Images can be inserted into documents, discussions, and other content types in the community. They can be a great way to illustrate a point, show error messages, and more.

CAUTION: Do not post images that reveal private or sensitive information/data.

While creating or editing a post:

  1. Take a screenshot in the method you have access to. If you are unsure how to do this, refer to instructions for Mac and Windows.
  2. Save the image to your hard drive or other location as .jpg, .png, or .gif. 

    Maximum file size: 10MB.

  3. Place the cursor where you want to place the image and click the Insert Image  icon in the toolbar.
  4. Click Choose File and locate the image file you saved.
  5. Click Insert Image.
